Wildland Firefighter / Fuels Crew Applications Due
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must meet the requirements at time of appointment and continue during employment.
- 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid NWCG Firefighter II certification
- Completion of:
- S-110
- S-130
- S1-190
- Nevada Driver’s License w/ F endorsement
- Valid State of Nevada Attendant License (or the ability to obtain)
- Arduous Pack Test within previous 12-months or during hiring process)
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
- $49,920.00 – $58,406.40 annual salary
- 100% contribution paid by District to Nevada Public Employees Retirement
- 100% of medical, dental, vision, and life insurance for the employee, 80% of dependent’s medical, dental, vision insurance coverage
- Thirteen paid holidays, Annual and Sick Leave accrued monthly
